2 Samuel 23:42
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of His understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength . . . But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:28-31

The "Thing" With Fat
~Leviticus 20:24~
Clearly, what God means by this passage is that they will have an abundance of cattle and good food. But nowhere in the Bible will you find non-fat instead of the whole food. Now obviously, it does not say in the Bible, non-fat milk or calorie-free honey. When the Bible speaks of fat it is referring to animal fat not milk and cream fat.
A lot of fat people use non-fat foods. This is not to say that if you struggle with overeating you should not be trying to lose weight.
Portion control is the key. Many people eat badly and do not overeat and, therefore, stay thin. Most food programs use portion control as the first step. They also use non-fat or sugarless food because often people who are in food programs have made food a god meaning it is worthy of their focus, emotions, their thoughts, and worship.
Whole milk, whole yogurt, half and half, and cream are very good for your skin. People who are thin and do not eat or drink fat (again we are not talking about animal fats found in meats) often have bad skin. You can drink and eat fat with benefits, you just have to control the amount.

The Fatherless, the Widow and the Stranger . . .
For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:
He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment. love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
Psalm 10:14 Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.Psalm 10:13-15
Psalm 10:18 To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.
Psalm 68:5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
Psalm 82:3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.Psalm 82:2-4
Psalm 146:9 The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
Isaiah 1:17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

Mom's Birthday
Mom's birthday was a over a month ago. We are woefully late. We were thankful then and thankful now and everyday that God has given us a wonderful example as our mother. Not just as a mother, but as a wife and companion to our dad. To describe what she has done and is doing now would fill volumes of books, so we hope you enjoy this little tidbit on her since we hardly ever get her on here. We also know that we have said this before, but, in just a year or less, the truth in the above paragraph has multiplied and tripled beyond description.

The Minstrel Boy
“The Minstrel Boy” is an Irish patriotic song written by poet and balladeer Thomas Moore who set it to the melody of an old Irish song. It is believed that Moore composed the poem and song in remembrance of a number of his friends, whom he met while studying at Trinity College in Dublin and who were killed during the 1798 rebellion of the United Irishmen.
The song became a favorite of many Irishmen who fought during the United States Civil War and gained even more popularity after World War I. A song with similar status is the more recent “Danny Boy”.
A lawyer, arguing his client’s case.
The ministrel boy to the war is gone, in the ranks of death you’ll find him; His father sword he hath girded on, and his wild harp slung behind him.
“Land of Song!” cried the warrior bard,“Tho’ all the world betrays thee, one sword, at least, thy right shall guard, one faithful harp shall praise thee!”
The Minstrel fell! But the foeman’s chain could not bring that proud soul under; The harp he lov’d ne’er spoke again, for he tore its chords asunder;
And said “No chains shall sully thee, thou soul of love and brav’ry! Thy songs were made for the pure and free, they shall never sound in slavery!”
During the American Civil War, a third verse was added.
The minstrel boy will return one day, when we hear the news, we will cheer it.
The minstrel boy will return we pray, torn in body, perhaps, but not in spirit.
Then may he play his harp in peace, in a world such as Heaven intended, for every quarrel of Man must cease,

The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear,
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom . . . ~Proverbs 9:10~
My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding. ~Psalm 49:3~
For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it . . . Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.
The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.
How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.
For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it . . . Wisdom strengtheneth the wise more than ten mighty men which are in the city.
Wisdom is better than weapons of war . . .
~Ecclesiastes 9:18~

What Constitutes Happiness?
The happiest moments of my life have been the few which I have passed at home in the bosom of my family.
~Thomas Jefferson~
Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
