The Lions' Mouths

Think not with thyself that thou shalt escape . . . For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there relief and deliverance arise . . . from another place . . . And who knowth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

If it be so . . .

Our God, whom we serve, is able to deliver us . . . but if not . . . we will not serve thy gods.

For . . .

My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me . . .
