God Resisteth The Proud . . .

. . . but giveth grace to the humble.
~James 4:6~
Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
~Psalm 34:13~

For . . .

Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out:
so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth.
~Proverbs 26:20~
The north wind driveth away rain:
so doth an angry countenance a backbiting tongue.
~Proverbs 25:23~
Speak not one against another, brethren.
He that speaketh against a brother,
or judgeth his brother, speaketh against the law,
and judgeth the law: but if thou judgest the law,
thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
One only is the Lawgiver and Judge,
even He who is able to save and to destroy:
but who art thou that judgest thy neighbor?
~James 4:11-12~
