Remember . . .
When the children of Israel moved to Egypt and lived there for about a hundred years it said that "there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph."
Because this new king of Egypt did not know Joseph and the great things that God had done through Joseph he prosecuted the children of Israel bringing about the downfall and destruction of Egypt.
